FUJOBOX Launches the First Subscription Box Service For Yaoi Fans

BANGKOK, THAILAND – July 10, 2016 – Earlier this month, FUJOBOX – a new subscription box service for yaoiand shounen-ai anime fans – made its debut on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fujobox-a-yaoi-goodies-subscription-box/).

Over the past couple of years, subscription box services have become increasingly popular among consumers. Subscribing to such services now allows Internet users to automatically receive a wide array of products – such as socks, shaving products or even food items – on a monthly basis.

FUJOBOX follows the same tried-and-tested formula, but applies it to the yaoi and shounen-ai niches. Those two genres have traditionally been overlooked by online and brick-and-mortar retailers, making it difficult for female and gay anime fans living outside of Japan to get their hands on licensed merchandise from their favorite shows.

Each month, FUJOBOX subscribers will receive a mystery box sent from Japan, containing at least four items featuring licensed characters from recently-released yaoi and shounen-ai anime as well as one piece of carefully-selected Japanese candy.

The FUJOBOX campaign has already received $2,000 in backings on Indiegogo during its first week and is currently looking for additional backers in order to reach its overall goal of $20,000. The campaign ends on August 2, 2016.

ABOUT FUJOBOX: Launched by a group of anime and yaoi fans in Thailand, the FUJOBOX project is currently using crowdfunding to secure early funding.
